What Does the College and Career Center Offer?

    • Resources:

      Utilize materials like career assessments, occupational outlook handbooks, and information on various industries and professions. 

    • Guidance:

      The College and Career Guidance Technician is poised and ready to help students identify their interests, skills, and values to match them with potential career paths. 

    • Activities:

      Through the College and Career Center, students will be able to enjoy career fairs, guest speakers, workshops, and job shadowing opportunities to expose them to different and exciting careers. 

    • Information:

      Gather information about colleges, universities, technical schools, and other post-secondary options. 

    • Application Support:

      Need assistance with college applications, essays, financial aid applications (FAFSA, CADAA), and scholarship searches? The Career and College Center has you covered! 

    • Testing Support:

      Enjoy resources and guidance for standardized tests like the SAT and ACT, including fee waivers. 

    • Resume and Interview Skills:

      Develop resumes, cover letters, and practice interviewing skills. 

    • Work Permits:

      Seeking employment opportunities? Get information regarding a work permit!

    • Job Search Assistance:

      Learn about local job opportunities, internships, and apprenticeships.
