Hello Huskies.
Here is a look at The Week Ahead:
* Schedule for this week is as follows:
Monday - Late Start Bell Schedule
Tuesday - Regular Bell Schedule
Wednesday - Regular Bell Schedule
Thursday - Regular Bell Schedule
Friday - Regular Bell Schedule
- Last night we had a fantastic Homecoming Dance where over 1,200 students came to enjoy a night in Rio! I am always so impressed with my students on nights like this. You guys came dressed to impress and you represented our school and community amazingly! Thank you to our students, staff, and community for affirming just how much the Husky culture separates us from everyone else! It truly is a great time to be a Husky!
- A FAFSA Supporter Night will take place on Tuesday, October 13, from 6:00-7:00 PM in the library. This workshop is designed for all students, parents, and guardians, offering hands-on assistance to ensure the FAFSA application is completed successfully.
- The PSAT/NMSQT test will take place on Wednesday 10/14 for those that registered. Check your student information for more information.
- PTO is hosting a fundraiser on Thursday, Oct. 15 at Dave's Hot Chicken. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
- PTO is hosting another fundraiser this week on Saturday, Oct. 17 between 8am-11am. This fundraiser is a clothing drive. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
- Seniors, this Wednesday between 5pm-7pm we will be having Senior Grad Night in the Large Gym for cap and gown orders.
- Thursday, October 15 we will be participating in the Great California Shakeout. We conduct many emergency drills during the course of the year but this drill is based on a major emergency situation. Between the hours of 10am - 1130am the drill will be taking place. During this time it will be extremely difficult to check students out of school so we ask that if you have to check your students out that day to please do it before our after the drill. The front office will be closed during the hours of the drill.
- CHHS will be hosting the first weekend of its fall musical starting this Friday, Oct. 16. Please see our website and social media posts for show times and ticket information.
- Please remember to follow our school wide behavior expectations to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe.
That's all for now Huskies. Let's make it a great week!
