Senior Updates
We are approximately 1 month away from graduation. Please see the reminders below for information about senior activities and graduation plans:
Last day to purchase grad tickets- May 1st. After this date graduation tickets will be on hold until ticket distribution on May 11th. We expect to have additional tickets for sale on May 11th and after, however we will advertise this information closer to May 11th (see below).
Senior "Hi Mom & Dad" videos" At graduation while waiting for the ceremony to start we will show a video of the senior class saying thank you/shout outs to their family and friends. The only opportunity for students to film this video is the week of April 20th- May 4th during lunch in the ASB room.
Senior Signing Day: Thursday May 1st we invite all seniors to wear represent their postgraduation plans. Students may request a poster for the event by completing the online form assignment in their Senior google classroom. We will have posters and photo opportunities in the student entrance/ center ice area.
Senior Finals- May 7th & 8th Teachers will use this time to give any final assignments/tests for seniors. Regular bell schedule both days.
Library Fines-- All seniors are required to pay any outstanding library fees and fines by graduation practice. Any senior who has not paid fines will not be allowed to line up for grad practice.
Senior Mandatory Meeting- Monday May 11th Seniors will be asked to check in at the stadium at 8:30am for their Senior Breakfast & meeting. Free breakfast for the first 100 students. Attendance will be taken upon arrival, and students will have the opportunity to pick up their pre ordered graduation tickets (including FASFA tickets), pick up their graduation cap and gown or other items, purchase graduation cap and gowns or other items. The graduation meeting will go over all details and requirements for graduation. After the graduation meeting is completed, students will have the opportunity to purchase additional graduation tickets as available.
Elementary Grad Walk: Tuesday May 12th. At this time, sign-ups for this event are complete, there are no additional spots available. Students who have signed up will be expected to arrive on campus by 8:30am to check in with their bus and attendance. They will wear their gowns (caps optional) and will depart on the CVUSD buses to their elementary school and return as well on the bus back to CHHS by approximately noon.
Senior Awards Night: Tuesday evening May 12th at 6:00pm. Students who will be honored will receive an invitation directly from the activities office by May 5th. It is a great night honoring many students in our senior class. The event will be held in our large gym, and parents/family are welcome to join those being honored.
Disneyland: May 13th students will check in at 7:00am. All students who have purchased a ticket with CHHS must attend with CHHS to Disneyland on the bus and return with us on the bus as well. Students must turn in their permission slips into the ASB office in order to sign up for the bus they will be on.
Graduation Practice: Mandatory practices are on Thursday May 14th and Friday May 15th. ** SEATING FOR GRADS UPDATE: Students will be able to choose to sit with their friends at graduation. All students must arrive on time for both graduation practices, they must arrive together with the group they want to sit with, there will be no saving of seats or choosing which rows they will sit. The line will start at 8:30am at the large gym entrance, students will be allowed into the gym in small groups & will fill seating from the front to the back of each side. The only students excused or saved seats will be students who have verified AP testing during graduation practice. All students who do not arrive on time or stay for the complete graduation practice will be placed at the back of the graduation seating.
Free graduation tickets will be given to students at the completion of the 2nd graduation practice after the panoramic picture.
Panoramic Pictures: At the completion of the second graduation practice students will wear their gowns and be lined up in the gym for the annual panoramic picture. Purchasing information for this picture will be distributed at graduation practice.

Graduate check in at 11:00 am. No cell phones or bags checked in for grads. Graduates will only be allowed to wear approved CHHS Cords & Stoles NO Flower/money Leis No Custom stoles/sashes or decorated caps.
All guests must adhere to Arena guidelines for items allowed at graduation: No Flowers in the arena, NO Large Signs that will block views, NO Noise Makers, All guests & graduates will enter thru a security check point. Ceremony doors open at approximately 11:00 am.
At graduation practice students will see which side of the arena they will sit on and which row they will be in. Please ask them so you can plan accordingly!
There will be a charge for parking, pricing TBD, cashless purchases only.
All guests must have a ticket to enter the arena, unless under the age of 2 and (lap seating)
