Here is a look at The Week Ahead:

* Schedule for this week is as follows:

Monday - Late Start Bell Schedule
Tuesday - Regular Bell Schedule
Wednesday - Regular Bell Schedule
Thursday - Regular Bell Schedule
Friday - Regular Bell Schedule

*** This Friday is Custodian Appreciation Day. Our custodians work so hard to keep the campus clean and ready for you on a daily basis. Please take time this week to say thank you and show appreciation to them. An easy way to do this is to throw away your trash after you eat lunch. I know crazy idea huh?!?!

- The Bone Stays Home!!! Congratulations to our tackle football team and our entire community for keeping the bone home for another year. Our school represented itself amazingly! From the the way we played the game, the way our band performed, the way our dance team performed, the way spirit performed, the way our training staff and students kept our athletes healthy and hydrated, the way our student section was packed with over 1,000 students bringing amazing energy, the way our staff worked so hard to ensure a safe and positive environment for everyone to enjoy, and the way our community cheered and encouraged the students from start to finish. It was a great night and its a reminder that there is no better time to be a Husky than right now!

I would also like to acknowledge Ayala's students, staff, and community for everything they did to make the night so special. While we will always root for our Huskies to be victorious I think it is important to celebrate the success of the night overall with the entire Chino Hills community. It was a great night to be a resident of Chino Hills.

- Make up pictures are this week October 2nd in the small gym. If you did not take your yearbook photo this is your last opportunity to do so. Go before school, at lunch during your English classes and take your picture!

- Huskies this week kick off with Homecoming Court voting- Don’t miss out to vote for your class royalty!

- Friday at lunch we will announce our Homecoming court at our lunchtime assembly, come out and support your friends!

- Homecoming tickets are still on sale until next Thursday at 10/8!

- SENIORS! Counselors will be visiting Gov & Econ classes this week to go over college application processes & post-HS pathways. For those that do not have a Gov or Econ class or are absent, there will be a makeup presentation next Monday, Oct. 5, in the Theater at 8:30am.

- PSAT Registration: Juniors & now Sophomores can register for the PSAT test. The PSAT will be on sale until Wednesday, 9/30. You can purchase online through Student Store. *Note: The PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is an optional test to qualify for national scholarships and recognition (only eligible for Juniors). The SAT is no longer required for admission to UC/CSU schools (check for other universities).

- Please remember to follow our school wide behavior expectations to be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe.
